"I was born a poor Martian child on the eastern slopes of the barren Madagascar desert located on the far side of Jupiter..", no that's not right.  I was actually born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, joined the Army after high school, and was deposited, by the grace of God, at Fort McPherson in Georgia.

Again, by the grace of God, I was accepted at Georgia State where I obtained my degrees for teaching, appropriately, kids with behavior disorders.

I played trumpet badly in high school and stumbled into the Music RX facility about three years ago where I was asked to join the New Horizons Band by Janice Lamaire and Elmore Stewart.  I have been taking trumpet lessons lately from area musicians...and I LOVE being a part of this extended family.

The time between trumpet lessons, band rehearsals, concerts, and reminiscing about my childhood in Madagascar Lancaster, have been spent building an aircraft. My friend and fellow band member George Marchman and I just finished building a kitplane. It’s a Van's RV12 Light sport plane. We have enjoyed flying our new plane together and criticizing each others’ piloting skills.
