We are back again at the Isle of Palms, a group of New Hanover High School alumni and friends who do this every year. You can read all about it here. Just about the same cast of characters and the same activities this yea, so there isn't much to add to previous year's accounts. Here are just a few pictures from this year's doings.

Very little has changed since our visit last year, but here we see the sea gulls are larger than usual. Diane, Helen, and Mary are fascinated, while Mona and Sue are unimpressed.

We see that, as always, cooking and eating were very popular activities.

And there was plenty of seafood for all.

Here are a few of the sights from my morning walks on the beach.

Yes, I really saw this on the sidewalk "downtown."

Sherry went walking on the beach much earlier than I and so was able to get this nice picture of something most of us never saw--sunrise.

Everyone is so engrossed in the TV that they have failed to notice the horseshoe crab that has entered the house through an open door.
