With the Pirates in Bradenton

      Monday and we're off to the Spring Training home of the Pittsburgh Pirates, the venerable McKechnie Field in Bradenton. The trip from our place in Indian Shores requires crossing the Sunshine Skyway Bridge across Tampa Bay, a spectacular engineering marvel.

Marilyn and I have visited this fine venue many times. This trip we even parked in the same auto repair shop as we did last year, just across the street from the third base entrance to the ball park.
